Milam County is full of stories.

From prehistoric fossils to frontier towns, wartime service to community traditions.

At the Milam County Historical Museum, we’re preserving the people, places, and events that shaped this region, while inspiring new generations to discover what makes it special.

Whether you’re a lifelong resident or just passing through, there’s always something new to learn, explore, or remember.
